End of Fall Season 2011 - FAQs

When does the Spring season start?
Evanston AYSO season starts roughly in April.  It really depends on the weather, what conditions the fields are in and the dates we get from the City of Evanston.   The Spring season will also be planned for 9 weekends, weather permitting.   We have been really fortunate this Fall with the weather - Spring can be a little more tricky as we all know!

If I registered for the Fall - do I need to re-register for the Spring?
No.  General rule is that if you played in the Fall 2011 Season, you are registered for Spring 2012 play already.

What about any waitlist spots?
We do accept waitlist names by sending an email to registrar@evanstonsoccer.org Please note that we have a rather extensive waitlist.   Players that request to be on the waitlist are not necessarily guaranteed a spot on Spring teams.  Rather if one palyer drops from a team we'll add from the waitlist accordingly.

When is the next registration process?
The next full season registration process is planned for late May-early June.  Information regarding the Fall 2012 - Spring 2012 registration process will be found here at www.evanstonsoccer.org Please come back to this website frequently for more information as registration approaches.

We are new to AYSO and would like volunteer?
Do you still need volunteers, coaches and help?
YES!!!!
AYSO is an all volunteer organization.  We don't work if parents are not involved.   Also those that volunteer to help in any of a number of needs are typically moved to the front of the line (waitlists, etc) -- so there is a benefit to helping!

If you are interested please contact the Evanston AYSO Regional Commissioner, Ryan Garton at
commissioner@evanstonsoccer.org

Update your email / phone number!!!
Please make sure that you keep your email and phone number current on your www.eayso.org account.
Please just login and update your information - as this is the best (and only) way for us to get you more information, dates, scores and more!  Plus you save the organization thousands of dollars in postage and printing!  How green!  Thanks.
